Catalogue maximum flow and listed water volume are comparison values. Final selection also depends on solids and feed loading, biological media, aeration and available hydraulic head. UV listings show watts per lamp × quantity; they are not the total electrical load or a validated disinfection dose.

Where GCRDF-100 fits

Application

Designed for gravity-fed layouts where the filter and pond operating levels are coordinated, including new pond filter pits and planned recirculating treatment circuits.

Hydraulic fit

GCRDF-100 is listed at 100 m³/h with 5 inlet connection(s) of 160 mm and 3 outlet connection(s) of 110 mm. Match the pipework and actual filter flow to the installation drawing.

Biological duty

The catalogue lists 100 m³ water volume. Media type, fill volume, aeration and daily feeding must be assessed separately; water volume alone does not establish biological capacity.

Plan the installation

Set the filter operating level against the pond water level and approved drawing. Review pipe friction, clean-to-dirty-side water-level difference, pump-stop behaviour and safe overflow provision. Leave access to the screen, wash pump, UV equipment and biological chambers.

How the treatment stages work

Water reaches the filter by gravity through the planned pond or system connections. Drum screening removes retained solids before the biological stage. Coordinate the filter operating level and the downstream return-pump arrangement so the hydraulic path works at both clean-screen and loaded-screen conditions.

Screen

The 75-micron SS 316 screen separates particles it can retain from the water stream.

Wash

A level sensor triggers automatic washing; high-pressure nozzles direct retained material to the waste route.

Biological stage

The chamber arrangement supports the specified media and aeration system. Monitor water quality as the biological stage matures.

Service access and maintenance

Inspect the drum screen, spray nozzles, level sensor, PP drive gear and waste drain. Check the biological chambers and aeration arrangement according to the operating instructions. Isolate electrical and UV equipment before servicing; follow the supplied lamp and sleeve maintenance schedule.

GCRDF-100 questions answered

What is the maximum flow listed for GCRDF-100?

The catalogue maximum-flow listing is 100 m³/h. Final operating duty must account for the 75-micron screen, solids loading and hydraulic conditions.

What are the dimensions of GCRDF-100?

The catalogue lists 2690 mm length, 1450 mm width and 1000 mm height. Allow additional space for service access and connected pipework.

What UV lamps are listed for GCRDF-100?

The listing is 3 lamp(s) at 80 W each. This is a lamp-power listing, not a validated UV dose or the total electrical consumption of the filter.

Does the combi filter replace biological design?

No. The biological media, aeration, feed loading and commissioning plan must suit the application. The catalogue water-volume figure is not a guaranteed ammonia-removal capacity.

How do I request a quotation?

Send Pureflow Bio the GCRDF-100 model name, project location, actual filter flow, daily feed and installation layout. The quotation confirms the supplied configuration and scope.
